Project: Organising of the National RCL Conference 2024
BizM8 was tasked to organise and implement the National RCL Conference 2024 at The Lakes Hotel in Gauteng. The aim of the conference is to empower learner leaders by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to navigate a rapidly changing world, fostering critical thinking, innovation, and collaboration to prepare them for effective leadership roles in both local and global contexts.
The total number of participants for the conference is 227, comprising 90 Provincial RCL learners, 18 Provincial TLOs, 9 Provincial RCL Coordinators, 20 RCL Conference Task Team Members, 70 DBE officials and partners, and 20 representatives from partner organisations, with the program also featuring a guided tour of Soweto led by a June 16 stalwart, who shared experiences and insights from the Soweto uprisings.
